This existing 1,900 square foot brick Victorian home in a small rural southeast Ohio town had been converted to a bank branch several years earlier. The bankers outgrew the facility and decided on an addition: a new bank president office and a drive-through canopy. The addition needed to harmonize with the existing structure and accentuate it.

The 350 square foot office addition extends from the back of the building, framing a new covered back entry. Masons were able to execute brick detailing at the arched headers identical to that of the existing structure. The 400 square foot drive-through canopy projects from the side of the building, and is held aloft by two columns, each with four 3×3 posts and expressive joinery.
