We use an integrated process model for buildings for the public and their urban surroundings. These buildings – including government buildings, courthouses, museums, libraries, schools, and community centers – are designed for civic organizations, municipalities, and rural groups. We express the ethos of the community and its citizens in ennobling buildings for these most essential services. Individuals who enter these sense appropriate scale and detailing in their surroundings.
