John Rakauskas, a mentor in the profession, designed this two-family home in a rather gritty neighborhood on a corner lot, with great sensitivity to the community, tremendous care to the plan and design, and a sense of dignity and craft to a frugal project. Our studio was immediately taken with the design and idea, and therefore decided to render the project as an homage.
