This vast 100,000 square foot craftsman style club complex is a merger of Asian traditional and California Craftsman design masterworks, and is set graciously amidst waterfalls and terraces in the Korean countryside. These conceptual drawings were produced under deadline in a competition for a golf club, and had a strong showing. The parti is a simple diagram of the courtyard-driven design and the orientation of the wings. The plans and elevations show the building in context with the natural environment. The interior court with heavy timbers was composed in a cad program and overlaid with trace and freehand entourage and details. The sepia tones unite the warm and soothing presentation.
