This early 1990s office building in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood in Cleveland was designed in collaboration with a mentor, architect John Rakauskas. The building originally served as offices for a graphics and printing company, as is evidenced by the stylized gold folded paper motif at the entry. The appealing angular forms were a counterpoint to the local traditional architecture, but the building keeps in harmonious scale with its neighbors, apartment buildings, a school, and a church. A new owner has recently purchased it with intent to develop it into new offices.
