This edifice, built of redwood timbers, was constructed in a Victorian Romanesque style in 1877. Prominent features include round arches, corbelled cornices, and gable ends with fishscale shingles. The steeple is the tallest element in the neighborhood.
The colorful renditions depicted here were the culmination of a process to measure, evaluate, and recommend potential creative solutions for the structure. These drawings, as well as a narrative of the church history, were presented in a grant proposal to several prominent cultural organizations.
