The owner purchased and erected a metal storage building on his property in rural Colorado as provided from a local storage barn company. The building contains two masses, provided as open spaces without demarcation of individual rooms. The larger of the two will remain open, as it is primarily for the storage of vehicles for a burgeoning outdoor business.
The smaller of the two will be partitioned, affording separate spaces for storage, equipment, and other necessities for the efficient operation of the business. Restrooms and a kitchenette for employees will be included as accessory spaces.
We provided a sketch design that described how the smaller space will be divided, based on some of the specific requirements of each room, and their adjacencies and circulation relationships. Certain details specified by the Owner were included. We also studied a new entry and site features and changes.
