These drawings and models are for a plumbing business and training complex near Austin, Texas. When we first began conversations with the owner about the complex, we took note of some buildings nearby, and admired the forms, suitable for agricultural production and for factory work.

In the diagrammatic axonometric, we sought certain daylighting strategies for plumbing repair, plumbing installation, and educational buildings. This study moved laterally into more general ideas about materiality, and how the craft of plumbing relates to the craft of architecture. 

Coupled with our research for the project, we created several presentations, one on industrial architecture in general, and another on the use of materials ordinarily used for plumbing in architecture.
